This is a choropleth map that shows the percentage of people who have never married. Darker shades represent higher values.

At the county level, there aren’t any drastic patterns. Rates are slightly higher in the south and southwest and lower in the midwest, which is roughly the inverse of percentage of those who are married. This makes sense, as one excludes the other.

The comparison between never married and married people is more interesting at the tract level.
